everything that i never thought could happen;

So... unfortunately my beloved doggie died the other day, less than 24 hours after a surgery that was presented us as a routine one and with not many complications. It was so unexpected and it feels so unreal and unbearable... my family is literally devasted, he wasn't a dog, he was part of us. 6 years have not been nearly enough... neither for him to go already, neither for us to say goodbye to our baby, cause we all treated him like a child. I've never felt so hurt in my whole life... and i had my fair share of deaths and pains in these 24 years so far. I long debated whether to make my usual graphics post tonight or not... but what would have been the point in skipping it? That wouldn't have given me my puppy back anyway :( And in the midst of all the suffering i'm going through i'm trying to hold on the usual things in my life... otherwise i stop living; basically all those icons had already been made last week, the last ones were made while i cried just to keep myself busy. That's why i decided to do this, and keep iconing, and so on... to have something 'concrete' to hold onto. I'm grieving nevertheless and i don't know when this pain will go away... but he used to lick my tears in the hardest moments of my life and i bet he wouldn't have wanted 'his mommy' to cry 24/7 so... here we go. But he was my life, everything i got, and i don't know what to do without him =/

I'm so sad for you about your dog, they do become members of the family and I know how much it hurts to lose them, especially way before their time so I'm really sorry :(

Awww, I'm sorry about your dog. I cried when my fish died earlier this summer, so I can only imagine how hard it is for your family. :( *hugs*
I almost hate when you make lyric icons for albums I own and love, because I have to take all of them. >.< The /Artwork/ icons are fabulous.

oh god hun I am so sorry to hear this. my pets are part of my family too and I completely understand. You will get through this in time. Unfortunately its a long process called grieving :(

This entry was just so heartbreaking to read...

I'm so sorry about the loss of your dog. I understand how it feels to lose a loved one. It's never ever easy. In time, however, you'll experience a moment of happiness that reminds you of the light at the end of the tunnel. Only saw this post now, and I sent my condolences to you about Kimi on Twitter, but all the same, I'm really sorry, I totally feel your pain. We had a 4-year old Chow Chow also named Kimi that we loved very, very, very dearly that died on us 5 years ago because she got sick. We ALL cried about that one, my dad was crying when he was digging her grave in our backyard. At least our Kimis are in happier places now...

And with regards to the icons, you're GENIUS as always, LOL, you know that! :D Taking any and every that's got to do with Randy, Legacy and John. :D Love ya, hun, and I hope you'll be better than okay soon! :D
