Not sure if this one has been asked before. Do you think Tuck is actually black, or is it just race-neutral casting?

One reason I ask is that Tuck appears in the S3 AU fic I'm co-writing, and the first time he appears in the story, he is seen from the POV of a character who has never met him before. So, I've been wondering how to describe him. I mean, if he is black, or Moorish or whatever, that is something that would obviously be noticed by the other character -- I don't think black people were a common sight in medieval England. On the other hand, since we're using the canon version of the character, it would be a bit odd to describe him as completely different. I guess we could just go with "dark-complexioned" or something, though that seems a bit lame.

What do you all think?

And why is there no tag for Tuck?

ETA: For some odd reason, I cannot remove the "2nd season stuff" tag I mistakenly put in -- I remove it but it still shows up after I save the changes. So, my apologies for the misleading tag.

[my secrets for a buck, watch me as i cut myself wide open, on a stage as i am paid to spill my guts]

Brand new, you continue to sing the songs that make me smile, no matter for sad or happy, or out of sorts i am. I dont think i will ever find another band like them, and im okay with that, frankly. Jesse Lacey, sing to me forever.

They have a new album, called Daisy, and it's actually pretty good. It'd say its sort of a scross between your favorite weapon and the devil and god are raging inside of me, it's interesting. listen to it a few times, you'll like it!

I have been very sick this last week. Sunday, I sort of started to have a cough, and we were a bit concerned, and monday it hit hardcore, with a bit of throwing up too. i went home from work early, with the unpleasant prospect of being off for the next seven days because of the "flu pandemic." it's now thursday, and im starting to come around. my cough is calming down, and im only a little stuffed up.

But Viki is really sick as well. She was home tuesday, and is also home for the next week, but she actually has the flu. She's starting to actually eat now, but only a little. so we'll see how the next couple days go.

there's an awesome christmas craft fair at spruce meadows this weekend, and we're hoping that we're feeling well enough to go, because it would be lots of fun.

Chapter Three of Marian: Through the Looking Glass is now posted. Read here.

Word Count: 1403
Rating: MPG-13
Genre: AU, Robin/Marian, romance, drama, angst
Spoilers: Maybe, slightly, for “A Thing or Two About Loyalty” – This story begins after Marian visits Lord Much at Bonchurch with Robin's misinformation for Eve and goes AU from there.
Summary: Marian is thrown from her horse and finds herself in a situation she could never have imagined in a million years.
Disclaimer: I do not own Robin Hood or Robin, Marian, Gisborne, Much, et al. I am making no money off of this endeavor. All I've earned is the joy in the writing and the possibility of some nice feedback.
